Shawn was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has a vast
knowledge of the metropolitan area and of its surrounding
communities. Shawn feels strongly that he understands the needs of
the people who live there.
Shawn is a Ten year veteran of the Real estate industry. His first
experience being with The Title Office a Michigan based Land Title
Company (later purchased by and known as Chicago Title) starting in
1998. He was a top producing account executive and received the
“Affiliate of the Year” award presented by the Grand Rapids Association
of Realtors as a result of his dedicated service to that
organization.
Shawn continued to be a top producer until leaving the title industry
in 2002 to pursue a new career as a Mortgage Consultant with Choice
Federal Mortgage, a locally based company, where he honed his craft for
the next four years. In January of 2007, Shawn made the move to Wells
Fargo Home Mortgage to continue and expand his passion for the mortgage
industry. In 2009, Shawn had a great opportunity to join the Exchange
Financial team and is currently working in Grand Rapids branch.

I am a dedicated, loyal individual who enjoys making my customer’s
dream of homeownership a reality. I take great pride in helping my
clients who have come upon hard times financially, a way out of those
circumstances. I truly believe that “bad things happen to good
people”. I am a sports enthusiast, an avid fisherman and
hunter, and I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family,
friends, and my Black Lab Gauge.
